Three executions linked to protests in Iran


(Reuters) – Iran executed on Friday three people arrested amid protests in the country late last year, an Iranian court said on Twitter. Majid Kazemi, Saleh Mirahshemi and Said Yaghoubi were hanged in Isfahan in the center of the country. According to Iranian justice, they were involved in the deaths of two members of the Basij paramilitary forces and a law enforcement officer.
