The historic center of Odessa listed as a UNESCO endangered site

PARIS (Reuters) – The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced on Wednesday the inclusion of the historic center of the Ukrainian city of Odessa on its list of world heritage in danger. The city of Odessa, located on the shores of the Black Sea, is only a few tens of kilometers from the front line and has been hit several times by Russian missiles. In July, part of the large glass roof and windows of the Museum of Fine Arts, inaugurated in 1899, were destroyed.
