ISNA says Iran’s UN ambassador accuses Israel of being behind drone attack

DUBAI (Reuters) – Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Irani, said the first elements of an investigation into a drone attack on a military factory in Isfahan last weekend indicated Israel was responsible, the ISNA news agency reported on Thursday. “This act by Israel is against international law and (we) condemn it,” the agency quoted Amir Saeed Irawani as saying. Tehran claimed late last week that it intercepted drones attacking a military site near the central city of Isfahan and said the attack caused no casualties or serious damage.
