Greenpeace announced "undesirable" by Russia
MOSCOW (Reuters) – Environmental organization Greenpeace was declared “undesirable” by Russia on Friday, which would effectively bar it from carrying out activities in the country. In a statement, Russia’s attorney general said Greenpeace had tried to “interfere in the state’s internal affairs” and was “indulging in anti-Russian propaganda” by calling for sanctions against Moscow. Greenpeace could not be immediately reached for comment.
