Florida Governor Ron DeSantis safe after car crash

(Reuters) – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, was involved in a car crash in Tennessee on Tuesday but was not injured, his spokesman Brian Griffin said in a statement. The campaign did not release further details. Ron DeSantis, 44, is considered the main rival of former President Donald Trump in the race for the 2024 Republican nomination.
