China: Group travel to be restored to 20 countries


BEIJING (Reuters) – Outbound group travel by Chinese citizens organized by travel agencies will be restored from Feb. 6, China’s Culture and Tourism Ministry said on Friday. China will allow group travel and “flight + hotel” services in 20 countries, including Thailand, Russia, New Zealand, Switzerland and Hungary, the ministry said. This list, which also includes Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates, does not include France.
