The Russian beach soccer team became the winner of the League of Nations – 2023

Russia’s national beach soccer team won the 2023 Nations League trophy.

In the decisive match of the competition, the Russians were stronger than the Iranian team. The face-to-face match ended with a score of 4:3.

As part of the winners, Alexei Makarov scored a brace (4th, 36th minute), a goal was scored by Ostap Fedorov (16), and an own goal was scored by the Iranian player Ali Mirshekari (5). The opponents responded with Seyedmahdi Mirjalili (13), Mohammadali Mokhtari (18) and Mohammad Masumizadeh (33) scoring goals.

We add that this season the Beach League of Nations takes place in St. Petersburg.
