The Ministry of Internal Affairs has proposed to introduce Fan ID at matches of the Cup of Russia

In December 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the introduction of a fan ID (Fan ID).

This decision caused an uproar in fan circles. Many fans boycotted RPL matches, but did not stop going to the Russian Cup, since innovation does not apply to this tournament.

Today, July 25, the Interior Ministry took the initiative to introduce Fan ID for the country’s Cup. Such information is available from the Telegram channel “Mutko against”.

“The option where Fan ID will operate on RPL Way games is being considered,” the source said.

We add that last season a fan card was not required to attend Russian Cup matches, with the exception of the final in Luzhniki.
