SPIEF race: warm-up session and autographs by Zagitova, somersault by Dalaloyan and a unique excursion

One of the most large-scale events of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was the morning run “We Are Together” in the city center.

“Arthur, we have five minutes,” Olympic champion Alina Zagitova interrupted another Olympic winner’s opening speech, Artur Dalaloyan, before the race started.

Two stars of world sports warmed up for the participants, which ended with a spectacular somersault by the gymnast.

And before that, Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin launched the SPIEF Sports Games program, which this year brings together more than 30 events in 18 sports.

Georgy Bryusov, director of the Center for Sports Training of Russian National Teams, signaled the start of the 5km run near St. Isaac’s Cathedral.

In total, 1,500 people sacrificed sleep to go for a morning jog in the historic part of the city. The fastest in the end was awarded by former Formula 1 driver Nikita Mazepin.

After the warm-up, Zagitova went to sign autographs at the Stavok League pavilion. And Dalaloyan reached her only after running five kilometers. He did it much faster than 250 people who chose the Uralchem ​​Run Factory excursion format, but he didn’t learn many interesting stories about the center of St. Petersburg.

Thanks to the high-tech fuel brand G-Drive, racing has become inclusive and beneficial. The company brought to the start the athletes of the Special Olympics of Russia, the team of adaptive sports snowboarders and the participants of the Spartakiad and the Russian championship in deaf sports.

At the end of the race, 7,500 meters of distance traveled by all participants, G-Drive is transformed into 22,500 liters of fuel. It will be provided to refuel vehicles carrying Russian Special Olympics athletes to training and competitions across Russia.

One of the features of the race is the company ranking. Like last year, the Sber team was the fastest.

This year, all competitions in the largest forums of the country are combined into the Time to Act series. In July, it will also continue in St. Petersburg as part of the Russia-Africa forum. The series is organized by the sports platform of the Roscongress Foundation – RK-Sport and the League of Heroes with the support of the Ministry of Sports.
