Sergei Kiryakov: Dynamo will not be able to oppose Zenit in anything

– It’s clear that Zenit look stronger and are the favorites in today’s match. Dynamo lost to Krasnodar, lost very important points in the league. But this match is a different story. To be honest, it’s hard to believe that Dynamo can oppose Zenit.

– Three key players who were suspended following the match against Spartak will not be in the match. How will this circumstance affect the course of the game?

– All three players are the main players of the team. Also, Malcolm, who is now in great shape. There is someone to replace, there is variability. You can change both the artists and the game plan. The composition allows it. Semak will do it from match to match, preparing for one or the other opponent. I think those who can replace them don’t look much worse than the three absentees.

I expected more from Dinamo: I thought that from the first rounds of the spring season the team would score points. In addition, Krasnodar now does not look as strong a team as it was in the recent past. But the blue-and-whites, without showing the kind of football expected from the team, lost almost without a chance.

– Such an outcome was expected. Even if those who are fans of Zenit probably looked forward to these meetings. However, what is the preparatory period for? Always the fact that the first few games can reserve surprises. But this has not happened with respect to Zenith. The team is constantly gaining points, while the contestants lose them. The points difference grows and Zenit can feel comfortable moving from one game to another. And I think the team will not miss the chance to become a champion.
