Central defender Samuel Umtiti returns to Ligue 1. The 2018 world champion is joining Lille for the 2023-2024 season, Radio France’s sports management learned from a source close to Losc, confirming RMC’s information.

Samuel Umtiti was released at the end of June by FC Barcelona where he arrived in 2016. The former player of Olympique Lyonnais, his training club, will be presented on Saturday at the Luchin area, Losc’s sports centre, where a press conference is scheduled at 10:00.
