The hierarchy has been respected. The epic story of AS Monaco, little spy of the Euroleague Final Four, ended in Kaunas (Lithuania), on Friday 19 May, after a semifinal won by Olympiakos (76-62). First French Representatives present in the semi-finals of the competition since Asvel in 1997, the Monegasque newbies lacked experience against the Greek club, yet led by 12 points at half-time (29-41).

Accustomed to big events, Olympiakos, triple winner of the Euroleague (1997, 2012 and 2013), they erased the double-header loss against the Principality club during the regular season, accelerating in the third quarter, winning 27 to 2. Roca Team will not become the first club to win the competition unbeaten or in the final since the introduction of the Final Four in 1987. It can already look forward to the next season, waiting to be officially qualified for its third Euroleague season.
