‘No one is above’ the club, recalls president Nasser al-Khelaïfi, during a visit to PSG’s new training center

The club has given Kylian Mbappe until 31 July to extend his contract.

Paris Saint-Germain has resumed training, with its new coach Luis Enrique, in the brand new training center in Poissy in the Yvelines, where the club president went on Tuesday July 18, reports France Bleu Paris. Nasser al-Khelaïfi insisted that “no one was aboveHe went to meet the staff and players, a visit which lasted just under fifteen minutes. Witnesses tell France Bleu Paris that they opened the case of Lionel Messi, who was suspended for a week last spring for missing training.

Nasser al-Khelaïfi also praised the attacking football new manager Luis Enrique wanted before meeting the six newcomers one-on-one: Skriniar, Asensio, Ndour, Hernandez, Ugarte and Lee. A speech concluded with a family photo with a message of support for goalkeeper Sergio Rico, still recovering after a heavy fall from his horse.

On the other hand, he has not met Kylian Mbappé individually. The club’s position towards him remains unchanged: he has until July 31 to renew his contract, otherwise PSG will put him on the market. The number 7 for his part wishes to go until the end of his lease which expires on June 30, 2024.
