Manchester City officially announce the extension of Alvarez’s contract
The new agreement between the Argentine and the “citizens” is calculated until the summer of 2028.
Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez has extended his contract with the club. This was reported by the press service of Sky Blue.
It notes that in December 2022 the forward became world champion as part of the Argentina national team.
It was reported that the 22-year-old has signed a new contract with the nationals until the end of the 2027/2028 season. The sporting director of the English club Chiki Begiristain noted that the Argentine footballer has shown impressive progress and hopes that he will continue his development in the future.
Recall that Alvarez joined Manchester City in July 2022. This season he has played 33 games for Pep Guardiola’s team, scored ten goals and made three assists.
