After Aurélien Paret-Peintre, Davide Bais, Ben Healy, Magnus Cort Nielsen, Einer Rubio and Nico Denz twice, will the breakaway be entitled to the eighth victory at the 2023 Giro? In any case, this is the most probable scenario offered by the route of the 15th stage between Seregno and Bergamo, on Sunday 21st May. The four climbs proposed and the fact that the last summit takes place 30km from the finish risk motivating many to flee.

For his part, the Frenchman Bruno Armirail will wear the pink leader’s jersey for the first time in his career. The one who is 1’41” ahead of the second classified, Geraint Thomas (Ineos Grenadiers), will try to hold him back before the second rest day of this Giro d’Italia. It’s up to him to hope that the leaders, who have not yet started the hostility, they are waiting for a more favorable terrain to discover each other in. Don’t miss anything of this 15th stage.
