After the cold and rain, the riders will tackle the longest stage of this Giro (219km) between Camaiore and Tortona on Wednesday 17 May. The day after Magnus Cort Nielsen’s victory, the sprinters will have the opportunity to shine. In this eleventh stage, with three scheduled climbs, adventurers will once again have a chance to take starting from the first hectometres.

In the general standings, Geraint Thomas (Ineos Grenadiers), is still in the squad with two seconds ahead of his main opponent, Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma), and five seconds over teammate Tao Geoghegan Hart. The first Frenchman in the general, Pavel Sivakov (Ineos Grenadiers), is in 8th position.
