The program “Aux Jeux Citoyens”, the first episode of which aired on Monday on France 3, had access to behind-the-scenes reflections around the future fan zone of the Olympic Games, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

The Olympics at the time of fashion week. Paris 2024 intends to innovate. Every day during the competition, the Olympic medalists will have the opportunity to walk the red carpet of the Champions Park, which is laid out at the Trocadéro, opposite the Eiffel Tower. The idea, which came from the Athletes Commission, was inspired by the ceremony organized for the return of the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, already at the Trocadero.

The goal: to offer medalists a less ceremonial celebration than the official podiums, and at the same time a walkabout in the midst of 15,000 people. Open from 29 July to 10 August 2024 (except from 2 to 4 August for cycle races and the finish of the march), from 16:00 to 23:30, this fan zone will also offer giant screens to follow the events, all free of charge.
