Barcelona intends to extend the contract with Busquets

Barcelona do not want to part with midfielder Sergio Busquets. The Catalan club offers the Spanish footballer to extend his contract with the 1+1 scheme. This was reported by journalist Tony Juanmarti on his social networks.

It should be noted that the midfielder’s current agreement with the Azzurri Granata expires next summer.

According to the source, the Spaniard has not yet accepted the Catalans’ proposal. It is said that with the new contract the player will receive three and a half million euros per season.

Recall that Busquets has been playing for Barcelona’s main squad since 2008. Since then, he has made 712 appearances for the Catalan team, scoring 18 goals and providing 44 assists.
