Andrey Arshavin joined the board of the Zenit football club

Former Zenit and Russia striker Andrei Arshavin has joined the newly formed board of directors of the St. Petersburg club. This was reported by the press service of the blue-and-whites.

According to the source, the club’s board consists of ten people, including president Alexander Medvedev and head coach Sergei Semak. It is reported that the body was founded with the aim of systematizing and streamlining the decision-making process that will be taken collectively.

Recall that since January of last year, Arshavin has held the position of deputy general director of the club for sports development at Zenit.
