Zelensky called the Crimean bridge a target for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Crimean Bridge must be destroyed, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. He stressed that for Kiev “this is a hostile facility built outside the law, outside international law and applicable standards.”

“So that’s our goal. And any goal that brings war, not peace, must be neutralized,” he said, speaking at the Aspen Security Forum.

Zelensky emphasized that the Crimean Bridge is not only a “small logistics route” through which Russian troops receive ammunition and militarize the entire peninsula.

Zelensky is currently in talks with US leader Joe Biden about the supply of ATACMS missiles with a range of up to 300 km, US national security adviser Jake Sullivan said.

According to him, The United States is ready to “take a risk” on the supply of new weapons to Ukraine, but there is no final decision yet. “Whether we ultimately give ATACMS or not is up to the president. He talked about this with President Zelensky. They are continuing the discussion,” Sullivan said.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal wrote that the White House is close to approving the deliveries of these missiles, and Kiev has already received “positive signals” in this regard.
