Yellen sees no signs of US recession: Bloomberg

WASHINGTON, July 17 (Reuters) – US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said on Monday that the US had made significant progress in curbing inflation and did not expect the US economy to enter a recession.

Yellen, who is attending the G20 finance ministers meeting in India, told Bloomberg TV that the slowdown in China could have an impact on other economies, but the US economy is on track.
