Wall Street opens lower after US data, Home Depot forecast
May 16 (Reuters) – Wall Street’s major indexes opened lower on Tuesday after Home Depot’s disappointing full-year outlook and April retail sales data suggested consumers were feeling the effects of high inflation and tight monetary policy. Markets are also eagerly awaiting the debt ceiling talks in Washington.
