The third attempt in a month was committed on the protege of the Kremlin in Kherson

An attempt was made on the life of a pro-Russian official in the Kherson region captured by Russian troops. The victim was supposed to be the deputy head of the department of domestic policy, Igor Telegin, his colleague Kirill Stremousov told RIA Novosti.

According to him, the attackers used homemade directional bomb. “Judging by the explosive device, it is possible that this is a mothballed local sabotage group,” he suggested.

Stremousov stated that Telegin was alive and unharmed. “We just talked to him. There was a complete assassination attempt on him, but everything is fine. He has no complications, no one killed him, although they tried”, — added the source of the agency.

A day earlier, Ukrainian telegram channels, citing their sources, wrote about the “liquidation” of Igor Telegin. In the public “Ukraine Now” it was reported that “the assistant to the Gauleiter of the Kherson region, Igor Telegin, was blown up at 18:20 in a car” in the yard on Senyavina street in Khersone. The site of the explosion was cordoned off. “UA Insider” claimed that the official died.
