The request for the transit of gas from Russia to Europe via Ukraine is 42.4 million cubic meters. daily
MOSCOW, July 18 (Reuters) – A tender to pump Russian gas to Europe via Ukraine and the Sudzha metering station on July 18 is 42.4 million cubic meters per day at zero flow through GIS Sokhranovka, Gazprom said.
The day before, the notification was at 39.9 million cubic meters.
In May last year, Ukraine stopped receiving transit gas through the Sohranivka station, citing force majeure circumstances and proposing to transfer the entire transit volume to Suja.
In September 2022, pumping along the main route of Russian gas supplies to Europe, the Nord Stream gas pipeline, was completely stopped.
The transit of Russian gas through Poland to Germany via the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline, which carried up to 15% of Gazprom’s export supplies to Europe and Turkey, was interrupted after Russian retaliatory sanctions against the Polish owner of the pipeline. (Moscow office)
