The founder of the largest construction company sold the last assets in Russia
The founder and former shareholder of the PIK group, Kirill Pisarev, got rid of the Russian division of Wainbridge, which is also engaged in development projects in Europe and the United States. Russian business was transferred to local management, writes RBC.
Projects in Russia are no longer listed on the Wainbridge international website. At the same time, Pisarev is still listed among the top managers of both the global company and its former Russian division. The company has projects in the United States, France and the island of Saint Barthélemy, which is administratively part of France.
In Russia, Wainbridge, as an investor and developer, is building the Aquatoria residential complex in Moscow. The company also announced its participation in the project for the construction of a residential complex in Vladivostok and planned to launch a new project at Ostozhenka in Moscow.
In two more projects in the capital, the company acts as a developer – the construction of the Bvlgari hotel and apartments and the renovation of the building of the Praga restaurant on the Arbat.
The owner of Praga, Miroslav Melnik, learned from RBC that Pisarev was no longer involved in Wainbrige projects in Russia. “We continue to cooperate with Wainbrige, but if Kirill is not there, then maybe their services should not cost so much,” Melnik argues. – If there is no Cyril, then, perhaps, it will be necessary to revise the cost [услуг] management company.”
In addition, Pisarev got rid of the oil and gas company RNGC Saratov. In mid-August, Alexey Shurygin became the new owner of 100% of the company – 1% belongs to him directly, the rest through Makrol LLC.
Kirill Pisarev, together with his partner in the PIK group, Yuri Zhukov, was also a co-owner of the Housing Finance Bank (157th in terms of assets). It is unknown if he remains in the business now.
