The Defense Ministry accused the Ukrainian army of attacking hospitals near Luhansk and Kherson

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that during the shelling, Ukrainian forces attacked a hospital in the village of Novoedar, Luhansk region, and the hospital complex of the Sokol plant in Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region. He specified that the hospital in Novoyedar was hit by the HIMARS system, and Novaya Kakhovka was hit by the Cannon artillery system.

The Defense Ministry said about the hospital in Novoydar, “As a result of a high-explosive fragmentation rocket hitting the building, 14 patients and medical personnel of the hospital were injured and 24 were injured of varying severity.” The department said that necessary medical assistance was provided to the local population and military personnel for several months.

“All people injured as a result of the missile strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were provided with qualified medical assistance,” the ministry said. The Ministry of Defense called the strike “a serious war crime of the Kyiv regime”. He promised to find and punish those involved in its planning and commission.

In the hospital complex of the Sokol plant in the city of Novaya Kakhovka, 17 shells were fired from the cannon’s artillery. This was told to journalists by a representative of the emergency services of the Kherson region.

“The Kyiv regime continues shelling of civilian infrastructure of settlements on the left bank of the Kherson region. At 14.50, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired 17 shells from cannon artillery at the city of Novaya Kakhovka. As a result of the shelling, the buildings of the children’s department and antenatal clinic, located on the territory of the Sokolovsky hospital city, were damaged, ”he said.
