SPB Exchange increased trading volume in January compared to December
MOSCOW, Feb 3 (Reuters) – The St. Petersburg Stock Exchange, which specializes in trading foreign equities, reported that the trading volume of foreign securities in January 2023 was $4.70 billion, up 52.37% from in December 2022 ($3.08 billion). 84.14% less than January 2022 ($29.61 billion).
The Moscow Stock Exchange announced yesterday that the total trading volume on all exchange markets in January 2023 amounted to 82.3 trillion rubles against 94.6 trillion rubles in December 2022.
On the Moscow Exchange, the trading volume on the exchange fell 2.6 times in January to 1.6 trillion rubles compared to December 2022. The volume of trading in shares, depositary receipts and shares amounted to 787.8 billion rubles against 789.4 billion rubles in December 2022.
