Ruble real effective exchange rate down 5.1% in February and 11.8% year-to-date: CBR
MOSCOW, March 14 (Reuters) – The real effective exchange rate of the ruble fell by 5.1% against a basket of currencies in February and fell by 11.8% in the first two months of this year, according to preliminary data from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. They also show that the real effective exchange rate of the ruble in February this year was 17.7% higher than the exchange rate from February 2022.
