RF reduced production of petroleum products by 4% in April/March 23–Rosstat
MOSCOW, May 31 (Reuters) – Russia reduced the production of coke and petroleum products in April 2023 by 4% compared to the previous month, but increased by 15.9% compared to April 2022, Rosstat reported on Wednesday.
In the first four months of 2023, the production of coke and petroleum products increased by 5.7% compared to the period January-April 2022.
Motor gasoline production in April amounted to 3.5 million tonnes, i.e. 4.0% more than in April 2022, but 7.2% less than in March 2023.
In the period January-April 2023, the production of engine gasoline increased by 6.9% compared to the period January-April 2022 and amounted to 14.7 million tonnes.
In April, refineries produced 7.3 million tons of diesel oil, which is 15.9% more than in April 2022, but 5.5% less than in March 2023.
In the period January-April 2023, the production of diesel oil amounted to 29.7 million tonnes, i.e. 9.0% more than in the corresponding period of 2022.
Liquefied gas hydrocarbons (LHG) in April 2023 produced 1.5 million tonnes, which is 23.8% more than in April 2022, but 1.1% less than in March 2023.
LPG production in the period January-April 2023 increased by 10.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2022 to 5.9 million tonnes.
In April, the companies produced 3.7 million tons of heating oil, which is 15.8% more than in April 2022, but 3.4% less than in March 2023.
Production of heating oil in the period January-April 2023 increased by 3.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2022 to 14.7 million tonnes.
The production of coke and semi-coke from hard coal amounted to 2.2 million tonnes, i.e. 0.1% more than in April 2022, but 3.6% less than in March 2023.
In January-April 2023, 8.6 million tons of coke and semi-coke from hard coal were produced, which is 5.2% less than in the corresponding period of 2022 (Moscow office)
