Retail gasoline prices in Russia did not change from March 7 to March 13 – Rosstat

MOSCOW, March 15 (Reuters) – Average motor gasoline and diesel prices at gas stations in Russia remained unchanged from the previous week between March 7 and March 13, the Federal Statistics Office (Rosstat) reported.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, over the period under review, an increase in gasoline prices was recorded in 13 regions of the Russian Federation, the most significant in the Republic of Mari El – by 0.7%.

A decrease in the prices of petroleum products was recorded in seven entities of the Russian Federation, of which the largest – in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug – by 2.9%.

In Moscow and St. Petersburg, petrol prices have not changed over the last period.

The average price of gasoline in Russia as of March 13 was 50.87 rubles per liter (March 6 – 50.86 rubles per liter), of which A-92 gasoline cost 47.14 rubles per liter (47.14 rubles per liter), AI-95 – 51.39 rubles (51.38 rubles), A-98 – 61.59 rubles (61.59 rubles), diesel – 58.38 rubles (58.40 rubles).

The statistical service calculated that by March 13, 2023, the cost of gasoline in the Russian Federation fell by 0.1% compared to the level at the end of December 2022. Overall, domestic gasoline prices increased by 0.9% last year.
