Putin’s assistant landed on the football field in Iran and disrupted the match

In Iran, a football match of the first league between the teams of the municipality of Astarina and Mes Shahrbabak was delayed due to the fact that two helicopters landed on the field of the Vahdat stadium. Russian presidential aide Igor Levitin was flying on one of them, and Iranian officials were on the second, IRNA reported.

Simultaneously with the match, the opening ceremony of the Iran-Russia railway line was held in the port of Astara. In addition to Levitin, it was attended by the governor of the province of Gilan Asadollah Abbasi and representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Islamic Republic.

At a meeting with Iranian officials, Levitin expressed Russia’s readiness to start joint production of helicopters, as well as cars and agricultural equipment.

Iranian Vice President Mohammad Mokhber responded by thanking Russian companies involved in the construction of transport infrastructure in the country. He also called for trading in their currencies to solve many of the banking problems in trade between the two countries under sanctions.

Levitin also met with Iran’s Sports and Youth Minister Hamid Sajjadi. “The Olympic Council of Asia has also repeatedly declared its readiness to include Russia in this committee. If we take part in the Asian Games, relations between Iran and Russia in the field of sports will become more intense than before,” he said.

According to him, the Minister of Sports of Russia during his visit to Iran should hold meetings to exchange experience with the Islamic Republic in various fields, including in the field of sports medicine. The two countries can also cooperate in the field of joint sports production.
