One of the leading technical universities in Moscow will teach the military how to operate drones

Russian Technological University (RTU MIREA) is training the military to work with drones, writes Beware, Moscow. At the training ground, classes on the theory and practical methods of drone control are held.

At the end of April, the RTU MIREA Special Training Center was opened. It occupies 2 thousand square meters. Not all classes go smoothly – an employee of the institute lost a drone worth 1.5 million rubles. He lifted it into the air in the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro area and communication with the device was lost. Drone not found.

This is not the university’s first involvement in the war. Earlier, the Higher School of Economics agreed to become a “think tank” of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic.
