Nvidia becomes the first trillion-dollar chip maker

May 30 (Reuters) – Nvidia Corp’s market capitalization surpassed $1 trillion on Tuesday, becoming the first semiconductor maker to enter the billionaires club.

The company’s shares by 17:06 Moscow time rose by 5.4%.

Last week, Nvidia forecast second-quarter revenue more than 50% above Wall Street estimates, and on Monday said it was building Israel’s most powerful AI supercomputer to meet growing customer demand.
