Russian director and propagandist Nikita Mikhalkov was transferred to intensive care from the city hospital No. 67, where he was brought the day before in serious condition, the Baza telegram channel writes.

According to the publication, he was diagnosed with covid pneumonia. At the same time, Mikhalkov’s representative Irina Myachina denied the information that he had covid. The director’s press secretary said that Mikhalkov was hospitalized with the flu.

The 77-year-old director was also diagnosed with an intoxication syndrome, the Mash telegram channel added. According to him, Mikhalkov fell ill two days before hospitalization, his condition worsened on January 5. Shortness of breath, cough, fever and nausea appeared. The director was hospitalized, accompanied by relatives, and later transferred to a “covid” hospital, the channel claims.

According to the 360 ​​TV channel, Mikhalkov was placed in the intensive care unit of hospital No. 52. The director is conscious, he was diagnosed influenza with signs of systemic inflammation, the newspaper writes. In addition, Mikhalkov has problems with the intestines. The director is on a low oxygen flow, his respiratory process is normalized, the newspaper notes.

Mikhalkov’s wife Tatyana said the day before that the exact diagnosis was not yet known. She urged to refrain from premature statements about the state of health of her husband.

Mikhalkov was an ardent opponent of vaccination. In one of the episodes of his Besogon TV program, he said that the founder of Microsoft, American billionaire Bill Gates, took advantage of the situation to chip people under the guise of vaccines against COVID-19.

However, in the spring of 2021, the director said that he decided to still get vaccinated against the coronavirus. “I got vaccinated because I realized that I was losing my vigilance: I walk, I communicate. I began to catch myself forgetting the mask. Where you will bang – God knows where, ”he said.
