Ivan Safronov and Ivan Neparatov
Why was Ivan Neparatov imprisoned? – but, for example, three different people owed him money, each – less than 10 thousand rubles. He took offense at them and bravely killed them.
Another time, Ivan Neparatov asked a neighbor to take him and his friends to the house of a Sergiev Posad businesswoman there – he wanted to rob her. The neighbor did not like the idea, Neparatov was offended by him, and he and his friends bravely stabbed him 88 (eighty-eight!) They still robbed the businesswoman, and also bravely strangled her.
He bravely spoke out against the Ukrainians – moreover, three years before the Euromaidan, he foresaw the development of geopolitical events! More precisely, against one Ukrainian, a foreman: he found out that he had been given an advance payment of 176 thousand rubles, gathered friends and freed him from this money. Well, he didn’t kill.
These exploits deprived Ivan Neparatov of freedom for 25 years. But he was not destined to serve everything – recruiters from PMC “Wagner” (as several publications write – foreign agents) released him from prison 13 years before the end of his term, so that he could show his contempt for human life on the battlefield. Died. He received the medal “For Courage” posthumously from President Putin, the very one who was so offended by Euromaidan that he unleashed a war in Ukraine.
I’ll give you an intermediate result. President Vladimir Putin:
- allowed a prisoner to be released without the slightest legal basis;
- agreed that a dangerous criminal, a ruthless murderer and robber, take up arms, having no right to do so;
- awarded the fugitive (in essence) the criminal with the medal “For Courage”.
The journalist is a “criminal”
What is Ivan Safronov sitting for? I don’t know, I think no one knows, including neither his accusers nor the judges. It’s formal if.
But in fact, as far as I can understand, he is in prison for talking about the activities of the military and arms dealers in exactly the way a journalist should do. Ivan Safronov knows how to see in open data what others do not see; understands how the military trading machine is arranged and “works”; writes well in Russian (I can say this, I happened to be his editor).
So there are much more “criminal episodes” in his biography than in the case of Ivan Neparatov. And these “criminal episodes” never aroused the suspicions of the Federal Security Service and the FSB, since Ivan Safronov was repeatedly tested and was admitted to the presidential pool of Vladimir Putin, the very one who awarded the brave killer Ivan Neparatov. All these are well known facts.
Let me sum up here as well. President Vladimir Putin:
- allowed to imprison one of the best journalists in Russia, as it seems to me, without any legal grounds;
- portrayed that there are some other reasons, besides completely legal professional activity, for the “case” of Ivan Safronov – but there are none and never have been;
- allowed (because if the president was against it…) the sentencing of Ivan Safronov, and even a sentence that was outstanding in its cruelty.
Who is more important for the motherland
So, compare how the Russian authorities treat the two Ivans (although here I want to say that they are not even namesakes).
Ivan Neparatov is a necessary, even necessary person, an obedient weapon; the same “hero”, which, apparently, should be equal to children and youth in school lessons about “important”. (Sorry for the abundance of quotation marks.) He is deprived of his rights by deceit or promises, because going outside the camp unequivocally takes him out of the legal space; he is deprived of will, who will pay attention to his desires or ideas; he is deprived of independence; he almost does not exist as a person. Without persistence, I will assume that the authorities are trying to achieve (and sometimes achieve) the same effect by brainwashing through the TV – with the only difference that the brainwashed citizens do not physically fight, but simply support the killing and destruction.
Ivan Safronov is a harmful “criminal” dangerous for the state, he can only be spoken of with regret and detachment. But even a cruel sentence does not deprive him of his will, talent, or support; in the eyes of colleagues in the profession, and in general of any thinking person, Ivan Safronov is an example of perseverance and a real hero. Such people eventually create the energy necessary for a radical change in the political situation, for its normalization.
War, first of all war
If you passed the FSB and FSO checks, this does not mean that military intelligence is not interested in you. This conclusion was made by many people who followed the “case” of Ivan Safronov.
I will allow myself a slightly broader and quite conspiracy generalization. The “case” of Ivan Safronov can easily be understood as military intelligence pointing out to the FSB that it was flawed. How! – did not spot a dangerous person after so many checks! And now let me remind you how many different scientists dealing with near-military topics have become victims of criminal prosecution by the FSB, and I will assume that these cases would not have been possible without the significant participation of the military.
And even, it seems, it is clear why the military might need imprisoned academicians with doctors of sciences. Russia has long since switched to a military footing, it is necessary to report on the successes to the leadership – and the successes, for example, are modest. Some kind of explanation is needed to relieve oneself of responsibility for such excessive modesty – and all these unfortunate traitors appear, all old people and cancer patients.
For the same modesty, Ivan Safronov also lost his freedom, apparently, in the opinion of the military, encroaching on their food base and, which is no better, casting doubt on the complex geopolitical constructions lining up for a future war with his work.
From this groundless reasoning (Ivan Safronov would have demanded invoices!), one can probably conclude that in the country of Russia the main ones now (and for some time now) are the military, and not the Chekists. The tragic fate of the disenfranchised robber and cannon fodder Ivan Neparatov is a confirmation of the same.
And the most severe “sentence” to Ivan Safronov is a signal from the military to all those who would like to encroach on their leading role.
