In Rostov there was an explosion in the building of the FSB

In Rostov-on-Don, a fire broke out in the building of the FSB Border Service. According to preliminary data,one person died, two were injured, TASS reports. The fire was preceded by an explosion, rescue services said.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a power cable caught fire in the FSB weapons depot. The flame spread to tanks with 10 tons of fuel. The source of the editorial office of the portal “161” in law enforcement reports that there is a detonation of ammunition in the warehouse. The correspondent of the publication reports that the passage to the FSB building was blocked, a traffic jam formed on the road.

Rescuers found two men near the entrance to the warehouse, writes Telegram channel Baza. Their condition is unknown. Preliminary figures show that there may still be people in the basement of the building.

The fire may have spread to the adjacent, main FSB building. Firefighters are trying to prevent this. An armored tanker truck was brought to the scene of the fire, as well as armored shields and bulletproof vests. Thanks to this, rescuers will be able to go deep into the basement, where there is a high probability of injury from fragments of possible ammunition or gas cylinders, notes the channel.
