ECB may have to raise rates again after March: Bundesbank chief

BERLIN, Jan 25 (Reuters) – Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel said on Wednesday he would not be surprised if the ECB needs to raise interest rates again after two expected moves in February and March.

“For February and March, we announced that we would again raise interest rates sharply,” Nagel said in an interview with Spiegel.

“Then we will see what will be the inflation in the spring and what will be the forecast of our experts. I would not be surprised if we have to raise rates even after these two announced steps.
