Confirmed losses of Russia in Ukraine exceeded 24 thousand people

According to the BBC, based on a study of burials in 65 settlements in Russia, the real death toll is at least twice as high at 48,000 people. And the total irreversible losses, i.e. the number of those who fell out of action due to injury, death or missing, reach 216,000 people.
Earlier, the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that 20,000 people had died since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. his mercenaries, half of whom are recruited prisoners. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported losses in September 2022, confirming the deaths of 5,937 soldiers.

Meanwhile, President Vladimir Putin said that Russia still has a lot of “human resources”. “We know what we want and we know how we achieve our goals,” he added.
