As expected, industrial production in the US remained unchanged in June

July 18 (Reuters) – U.S. industrial production was unchanged from May in June, as analysts had expected, the Federal Reserve said on Tuesday.

A revision of last month’s data showed that production volume fell by 0.5% in May. Earlier data showed a decline of 0.2%.

Capacity utilization in June was 78.9%, down slightly from the revised 79.4% in April. Analysts forecast an increase to 79.5%. (Reuter office in Gdansk)
