API data points to an increase in US oil inventories – sources
March 14 (Reuters) – Oil inventories rose last week while fuel inventories fell, market sources said on Tuesday, citing data from the American Petroleum Institute (API).
Oil inventories rose by about 1.2 million barrels in the week ending March 10. Gasoline inventories fell by about 4.6 million barrels, while distillate inventories fell by about 2.9 million barrels, sources who requested anonymity said.
