A German court has rejected Rosneft’s lawsuit over the Schwedt refinery
Leipzig, March 14 (Reuters) – The administrative court in Leipzig on Tuesday dismissed Rosneft’s lawsuit against the decision of German authorities to put the German subsidiary of the Russian giant in trust and effectively take control of the refinery in Schwedt.
Last year, the German government transferred control of the refinery to the federal regulator.
The German Ministry of Economy also announced that it plans to extend the term of office of the trustee at Schwedt, which ends on March 15, and that it is not negotiating the sale of the refinery for the time being.
