A 60-year-old Petersburger was prosecuted because of a note on the grave of Putin’s parents

A resident of St. Petersburg, 60-year-old Irina Tsybaneva, became a defendant in a criminal case on desecration of the bodies of the dead and their burial places. As the defendant’s son told Mediazona, the case was opened because of a note she left on the grave of President Vladimir Putin’s parents on October 6.

The police came to her on 10 October. “She did not open for a long time, but in the end he promised to open the door, and she opened it. She was taken away yesterday at 15:00 to the 35th department [полиции]. There was something for a long time. As a result, by night she called and said that there would be a search. We immediately went to her house, but she was not there. And we didn’t notice any traces of a search, ”said Maxim Tsybanev.

The content of the note was not disclosed. “She said that there was a wish to die,” the detainee’s son explained. The investigation intends to ask for an arrest, the term of detention of the Petersburger was extended by 48 hours.

Earlier, another message about the “ugly” behavior of the president was left on the grave of his parents by Feminist Anti-War Resistance activists. At the Serafimovskoye cemetery where Maria Ivanovna and Vladimir Spiridonovich Putin are buried, a leaflet designed in the style of a school diary appeared.

“Dear parents! Your son is behaving badly! He skips history lessons, fights with classmates and threatens to blow up the entire school. Take action,” the note said.
