European stock markets, wait-and-see, open slightly higher
European stock markets opened slightly higher on Friday, waiting for the publication of an inflation indicator in the United States, while continuing to follow negotiations around the American debt ceiling.
The Paris Stock Exchange opened up 0.38% to 7,256.50 points at 9 a.m. (0700 GMT). Frankfurt rose by 0.36%, Milan by 0.39% and London by 0.51% in the first exchanges.
