European stock markets end down
European stocks ended slightly lower on Tuesday after several lackluster indicators, such as consumption in the United States, and pending progress on negotiations around the American debt ceiling. London fell by 0.34%, Paris by 0.16% and Frankfurt by 0.12%. On the bond market, the borrowing rates of European countries rose.
