European stock markets are trying to recover
European stock markets were trying to recover Tuesday at the opening, the day after a fall caused by fears about the global banking system after the bankruptcies of American establishments, and before a key indicator on inflation in the United States.
Paris advanced by 0.25%, Frankfurt by 0.38% and London was close to equilibrium (-0.04%). Bank stocks, which have suffered heavy losses in the past two sessions, were down slightly in early trading.
