The Orange Business Tour stops in Toulouse with 300 companies

the essential
300 Orange customers, companies and institutions, took part in the Toulouse stage of the Orange Business Tour. The new director of South-West Enterprises, Olivier Defosse, discusses it.

What is the Orange Business Tour?

It’s a show on the side of Orange Business, the body that supports business customers. We go around France in seven stages. Our customers can meet with sales teams, technical experts and technology partners to discuss various topics. This allows you to meet all the actors and broaden the themes and have an overview because a good number of topics are interrelated.

What are the main trends, challenges of the market?

There has been a real change with Covid, the needs of companies have evolved, especially through the development of teleworking. With even greater cybersecurity challenges on the corporate side. It is also about supporting our customers in the use of data, which can enable them to get to know their customers better and respond to CSR issues, for example with smart buildings. In Balma, our 5G laboratory is the perfect illustration of what we can do, it’s also a smart building.

You took office in January. What’s your roadmap?

My priority is to position Orange as an essential partner in the digital transformation of companies and institutions. This is a crucial moment in which we have to manage the various issues. Internally, the commercial departments of Occitanie and Nouvelle Aquitaine have been merged into a single entity.
