The Lucien Georgelin company and its fruit preparations voted “Taste of the Year 2023”
Earlier this week, the Virazeil-based company Lucien Georgelin won a new award with the “Taste of the Year 2023” for its 100% natural fruit preparations.
The “Taste of the Year 2023” awards ceremony awarded the Lot-et-Garonne company Lucien Georgelin for its new range of fruit preparations without added sugar or sweeteners. Lucien Georgelin himself and Arnaud Thellier, commercial director of the northern sector of the company, will also personally receive the “Flavor of the Year 2023” award, this Tuesday, March 14, at the Eiffel Tower theater in Paris.
To determine the winner, the Monadia organization held a national tasting. The result is impressive for the company based in Virazeil, near Marmande, which has received a magnificent score of 17/20. Today this recipe that belongs to them is a unique range certified Nutriscore A. Six flavors to discover: apricot, strawberry, blueberry, Williams pear, black cherry and orange-clementine-lemon. The special feature of this recipe: the fruit preparations are cooked in a copper cauldron.
This recipe has already conquered several juries and won several awards: “SIAL 2022 Selection”, “Saveur d’Or 2022” and “LSA Innovation Trophies 2022”.
