Saint Gaudens. Integration day for the agricultural campus

The upward curve continues on the agricultural campus. Admittedly, there are still a few places to be taken (CAP landscape gardener and forestry work) but CFA and agricultural high school still show a growing number of students (225 students / 90 apprentices), the boarding school is almost full, the results remain above the national averages (100% in high school, 90% in the CFA)…

Growth also has consequences: the lack of space. The solution is already in motion: the expansion of the CFA premises is planned for 2023. In short, everything is going for the best in the best of Comminge’s agricultural worlds.

This week, the whole campus met at the Ferme de Borde-Basse – the operation of the campus in Saint-Médard – for an integration day. 24 teams, 10 events made up of music, sporting challenges, games of skill or strength, knowledge of the establishment, or rehearsal of a choreography proposed by the “Services to people and sales in rural areas” sector CAP SAPVER).

A warm and friendly way to start this new school year. And back to school is not over! It will continue for another ten days through the participation of the Campus in various local events: sales stand and presentation of sheep at the Luchon agricultural fair this weekend, competition for judging animals for slaughter next Thursday, of Boulonnais on September 17 and 18.

This time, for sure: students, pupils and apprentices know that it’s back to school!
