Roquefeuil: open house at the Gaec des Bordes, October 2

The Grauby family is hosting an open house on Sunday October 2 on his farm with the “Bienvenue à la Ferme” network. On this occasion, the official inauguration of its new reception room and its cutting and processing workshop will also be celebrated, in the presence of elected officials and representatives of the State. To make known its territory, such is the goal of the hike through the forests of fir trees and beeches, the pastures where the herds graze during the beautiful season, a panoramic view of the Pyrenees and a diversity of landscapes throughout the journey which will introduce you to a region that is still preserved.

Farm meal

Back in Les Escoumeilles, after an invigorating walk of about two hours, a meal concocted with farm products (Gascon meat from the Pyrenees and potatoes from the Pays de Sault) will be offered to you, with musical entertainment. For the less courageous, go to the farm around 12 p.m. to join the hikers around a free aperitif, followed by the farm meal (homemade charcuterie, veal on the spit, gratin dauphinois and crisp, €20 for adults and €12 for children under 10). Carole, Manon and Jérôme invite you to meet around 10 a.m. at the Gaec des Bordes farm for the start of the walk, accessible to all, after a welcome snack.
