Bousquet Immobilier and the Raymond studio, two real estate agencies founded in Rodez in the 1980s, are today one. Following the imminent retirement of Pierre Bousquet and the takeover of the portfolio by Benoît Raymond, the Raymond studio, initially located on avenue de la Gineste, moved to avenue Victor-Hugo and became Ruthen’Immo. A rebranding that illustrates the desire to do so “shows that there is evolution and some fresh air to come”explains Florine Raymond, head of rental management. After some painting work, adaptation to electrical standards and after having equipped the premises, Ruthen’Immo has just opened its doors to the public. “The place is so much better. Being in the city center is a godsend”, says Laurette Brizard, head of administration. The agency, made up of three employees, now has a showcase. “He will bring us people passing through, we will get to know each other better”.

“Knowing a buyer is essential”

This installation made it possible to double the management portfolio, going from 150 to 300 lots. A growth that allows the company to increase its turnover, and gives it the desire to do so “grow even more, hire more, keeping the family spirit”. Management, rent, real estate expertise: the Raymond studio developed the part of the transaction following the hiring of Lisa, in September 2022. A new branch they wish to deploy more in the city center.

Pierre Bousquet, the former manager of Bousquet Immobilier, remains at the side of the buyers to complete the handover, which began in April. “I remain a link between Ruthen’Immo and my former clients, it will take as long as it takes.” His decision to retire after 40 years of practice was not an easy one. His friendship with Benoît Raymond, which has lasted for 35 years, the establishment of the agency on the premises where he worked and the family spirit within the agency convinced him. “Knowing a buyer is essential. In addition, Raymond is a human-scale structure, which is preferable for my clients”trust.
